Have Some Fun Listening To This Song .....

This song is written based on actual events. Those friends who contributed their stories in this song will surely laugh about this!

Keep cool and try to solve your problems. Be adults and do not keep tearing each other apart! Make a date and thrash it out! Please don't draw blood! Ha! Ha! He He ..

Seriously, I know problems like these are bad although it is made up of only trivial issues. Most problems come with their solutions. It only depends on how each party takes it.

BLOGGERS please come in and give these people a hand. While I highlight the problems, hopefully you can help to sort them out!

Lyrics Of Song

I Am Starting To Fear
When The Week-End Is Here
As I Open The Door
Comes My Mother-In-Law
Here Comes My Mother-In-Law

** Chorus ***

*** She Is Here Again
She’s As Pecky As A Hen
And She Does It Again
Again And Again
She Is Very Mean ***

When I Had Two More Eggs
She Would Not Be Pleased
When I Ate More Veges
She Neither Liked It

She Would Go Through The Ledges
Looking For Dust
Would Nag For Ages
When She Found It Out Fast
Oh! When She Found It Out Fast

*** Chorus ***

*** Interlude ***

*** Chorus Twice And Fade ***

She Is Very Mean
She Is Very Mean
She Is Very Mean
She Is Very Mean

The Thoughts Of The Composer / Producer

The opening verses are the most common remarks we hear about mother-in-laws (MILs). The DILs will say, “here they come again, without fail on every weekend!”. Usually this is in a conversation with their close friends; relatives; colleagues etc to “let it out”!

I adapted my first stanza from a very close friend who resides locally. She complains of a very stingy MIL who criticizes every little petty “extra” food that the DIL eats even though it is the DIL who is paying for it!

My second stanza is from the complaints of an Aussie lady about her MIL. Her MIL is very petty over the cleanliness of the house. Every time her MIL comes over, her MIL would be checking out the ledges for dust! And nags whole day long after finding little specks of dust!

Are all of these worth the while to strain relationships? It does not affect the feuding parties only. But it also strains the relationship of the poor innocent couple. In such a circumstance, the husband is the meat in between the sandwich!

Contribute your stories and “ease your pains”!

Here is one of my stories from a very frustrated husband. Most people think that I am spiking the MILs. I am presenting stories on both sides to see how things can really get out of hand.

"This man told me that a frog has entered his house. It has frightened his daughter. Naturally, he tried to chase the frog out of the house.

To his surprise, his very religious wife demanded that he left the frog alone. Let it stay in the house. The husband obliged and respected the wife's demand.

A few months later, the man's mother wanted to come and stay in his home. The wife immediately objected and did not agree to this".

So now, do you think MILs are bad? Well, DILs are not that good either. Can be worse.

The moral of the story is, "Don't hide behind a religious mask when your heart and soul is not that clean!".

I have always respected this quote from Mother Teresa,

"If we cannot love the person whom we see. How can we love God whom we cannot see?".
